Problems staying awake when you get on the train to commute to/from work? Late night party and on the last bus/train home?
Not So Far is a GPS based alarm, designed to wake you up before you go too far and miss your stop!
Use the interactive map and location search facilities to set locations on the map for where you are going, set a distance from the location (upto 12km) from the alarm central point. Not So Far will then alert you once you enter the defined range of the alarm point.
Each alarm point can be enabled and disabled independently without having to delete/recreate them, and each of the alarms show how far you are from it (straightline distance).
The app is designed to run in the background when you switch to another app/lock the phone. This feature can be turned off when you are not using the app to save on battery, and is off by default when you install the app.
Alarm will vibrate your phone, wether the app is active, in the background or your phone is locked. If the app is not active, notifications are additionally used to alert you to the alarm.
NotSoFar is designed to be as intuitive and easy to use as possible.
